Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is getting a lot of love from Iowa Tea Party members, according to a new poll from Public Policy Policy Polling of Raleigh, N.C.

 

Among tea party members surveyed in the Hawkeye state, Huckabee is leading the field at 23 percent, followed by Donald Trump at 20 percent. Next up is Mitt Romney at 14 percent followed by Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann at 11 percent. Ron Paul trails at 6 percent followed by Newt Gingrich and Tim Pawlenty, both at 5 percent.

 

The survey included 419 usual Iowa GOP primary voters from April 15^th to 17^th and has a margin of error of +/- 4.8%.
