CA Tea Party Gets Unlikely Partner in Free Speech Case
The North State Tea Party Alliance of California has filed a first amendment lawsuit against the city Redding, according to the Silicon Valley Mercury News. At issue is a local policy that requires – among other things – a reservation for leafleting at the local library and restricts the activity to about 10 percent of the main entrance.

"We kind of laugh and talk about how we don't see eye-to-eye on every issue. But the issues that we do see eye-to-eye on make us absolute, 100 percent partners," said David Pappas, the attorney representing the North State Tea Party Alliance.
