Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich made it official on Wednesday – announcing plans to seek the 2012 Republican nomination for president, according to The Wall Street Journal. In a You Tube video post, the Tea Party favorite had this to say:

 

“There’s a much better American future ahead with more jobs, more prosperity, a better health system, longer lives and a country that is decentralized under the 10^th Amendment with power once again back with the American people and away from the Washington bureaucracy.”
