The Woodlands racetrack in Kansas City will host national tea party groups this fall in an event that could bring tens of thousands of people to the area.
The event, aptly named “The Freedom Jamboree,” will start September 20 and will include an amalgam of speeches, music, and fireworks. The event is open to campers and tailgaters.
The culmination of the Jamboree will be a presidential straw poll on October 1.
Admittance is free and organizers hope to attract as many as 300,000 people.
