Bachmann Digs at Herman Cain Allegations
Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is hot on the heels of recent allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior against fellow GOP presidential contender Herman Cain, reports
Politico.
Bachmann was the first candidate to knock Herman Cain based on a recent report that two women who worked for the National Restaurant Association claimed they were sexually harassed while Cain was leader of the group in the 1990s.
During a “tele-townhall” with various trade groups, an individual raised the Cain allegations and asked why he should vot for Bachmann.
“You’re asking the right question. I think it is because what I have proved and what America is looking for is a leader with a core of conviction, who is going to do what they say they’re going to do and mean what they say,” Bachmann said, according to Henderson. She added that voters want "an authentic voice, a real voice that gets them and they don’t want someone who is going to vote one way and do something else.”
