Jon Stewart Takes Aim at Herman Cain
Jon Stewart of the “Daily Show” was certainly not to be left out of the flurry of media attention given to Republican presidential contender Herman Cain after accusations of sexual harassment arose, reports the Huffinton Post.
Stewart took aim mostly at the candidates damange-control press conference held Tuesday. Stewart listed the tactics used by the Cain campaign to stay above the media fray:
“One being denial, two being recollection, and three being ‘I'm not going to talk about this anymore.’ Four, of course, is the press conference where you stand in front of a bunch of flags and try to make it look like you didn't mess up stages one through three.”
Of course, Stewart closed this segement with the requisite jibe at the scandal that put out the lights on the Cinton administration.
“Come on, Cain,” Stewart said. “Don’t you remember the 90s?”
