Tea Party Rescinds Support of Herman Cain

Amid repeated gaffes and allegations of sexual harassment, high-ranking members of the tea party have back-pedaled on their earlier praise for the Georgia businessman.
Judson Phillips, the founder of Tea Party Nation, said following Cain’s interview with the Milwaukee Jounral Sentinel that Cain should just drop out of the race."Herman Cain needs to leave the race because he is not qualified to be President. The video is painful to watch. It is obvious Cain is in over his head and simply clueless," said Judson.
Judson also said he believes that his earlier judgements about Cain were mistaken. “I was wrong about Herman Cain . . . I said originally that Cain could stay on message better than almost any other candidate. His 9-9-9 plan was all he would talk about and I attributed that to good messaging on his part. I was wrong.”
