Bachmann Camp Receives Another Blow
Former New Hampshire staffers for the Bachmann campaign issued a statement Monday that called her top campaign aides “rude, unprofessional, dishonest, and at times cruel,” reports the Sentinel Source
The statement comes as the latest division in the Bachmann campaign following last week’s news of the entire New Hampshire staff's departure.
Former campaign manager Jeff Chidester confirmed that the statement was sent on behalf of him and five staffers and reveals that Bachmann was “sequestered behind a wall of pretense, guarded by political operatives consumed by their own egos.”
Bachmann’s campaign shot back Monday, saying that the statement was not issued by someone who ever formally worked for the campaign.
“The unauthorized news release was sent by a person who doesn’t even work for the campaign and has never had authority to speak on behalf of the campaign,” Bachmann campaign manager Keith Nahigian said in a statement. “We are not responding to comments made by a person who was not even a staff member in New Hampshire. Our focus is on Iowa.”
