Cain: Wall Street Protesters Can Only Blame Themselves
Herman Cain had some tough love for the most recent wave of Wall Street protestors, saying that they only have themselves to blame if they are poor or jobless, reports
ABC News.
“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself,” Cain said while speaking to the Wall Street Journal. “It is not a person’s fault because they succeeded, it is a person’s fault if they failed. And so this is why I don’t understand these demonstrations and what is it that they’re looking for.”
Fellow GOP candidate Mitt Romney characterized the protests as “dangerous” and “class warfare” during a campaign stop in Florida.
