Kelsey Grammer Sympathizes With Tea Party
Best known for his TV role as “Fraiser,” actor Kelsey Grammer shared his conservative views and sympathy for the tea party movement with Piers Morgan in an interview that will air next Monday at 9 p.m., CNN
"I'm sympathetic to some of the principles," he says of the tea party. "I'm not sure they would say anything I object to . . . I think smaller government is a good idea, always have. I think lower taxes is a good idea."
But on social issues Grammer disagrees with the movement.
"I think marriage is up to two people who love each other," says Grammer. "I tend to think the government shouldn't be involved in any way."
Grammer also opens up in the interview about his ex-wife, Camille Grammer.
