Romney Receives Key Endorsements
Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney received key endorsements from former Sens. Judd Gregg, R – N.H., and Mel Martinez, R – Fla., reports
The Hill.
Romney’s campaign announced the endorsements Monday morning from the two politicians both in early-voting states.
Gregg served as the top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee up until his retirement last year. He currently serves as a columnist for The Hill.
Martinez served as secretary of the Housing and Urban Development Department under former President George W. Bush. He is also a former chairman of the Republican Party and gave his endorsement to Sen. John McCain in 2008.
