Marco Rubio Posts Web Response to Obama Speech
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) issued a video statement in which the Florida senator said his biggest concern about President Obama’s jobs proposal is that it just “won’t work,” reports
The Hill.
"My problem with this is quite frankly a lot of it just won't work. A lot of this sounds like things we've already tried. You know more government spending," said Rubio in his response Thursday.
Instead, Rubio pitched proposals to cut back regulation in order to build confidence in businesses and encourage them to hire.
"There are things in there that are good, but by in large it's a proposal based on things that just won't work. Haven't worked in the past and won't work in the future," said Rubio.
