Judson Phillips, founder of Tea Party Nation, endorsed former House Speaker Newt Gingrich Monday for the 2012 GOP nomination, reports CNN. 

“Gingrich is the candidate who has the vision to fundamentally change the Federal Government. Gingrich has the unique capabilities to be the field general. He is the big idea man, much as Ronald Reagan was,” Phillips wrote on the Tea Party Nation blog.
 

“I am thrilled to endorse Newt Gingrich to be the Republican nominee and the next President of the United States.”

Phillips went on to call Gingrich the “best debater” who “Obama can offer nothing against.”
